If you are determined to look I would test the CAC, and intake looking for leaking valve guides. no use spending a lot of money on something that has bigger problems unless you know what they all are. You might want to remove the exhaust pipe, and inspect the turbine for damage just in case there is internal problems.Īlso remove the oil filter and inspect it for metal, and the oil drain plug for metal. You also want to tell us if there is smoke when cold? Does it have a miss blow oil out the exhaust? ![]() Plugged the vacuum line to the vacuum canister to distirbutor(as vc was bad and leaked) and am now pulling 13-15' vacuum. ![]() Valves adjusted today and the two drivers side center manifold bolts sealed. The engine oil level is it correct, From memory I believe it is 32 liters pan level at the full mark. Re: vacuum advance and big cam-UPDATE Slowly getting things 'fixed'. First thing you want to do is remove the vent on the valve cover and clean that, they will carbon up. ![]()
